Always on display help

So I was told that I can have the always on display on my s7 rotate with the phone so that it looks like an actual clock when it's on its side instead of just sitting there in its normal position. Unfortunately I was not told how to do this and I've looked through the settings and have not found out how to do this. Anyone know how to do it?

First of all, welcome to Android. You made the right choice! ;)

Pull down notification bar, tap the gear to go to settings, select Display and Wallpaper, scroll down to Night Clock, toggle that on, and see if that's what you had in mind.

Thank you for the welcome and I've glad I've switched. As for the night clock thing when I try do do what u said I only have a display setting and then a wallpaper setting not a combined one so I was thinking " OK I have a search function to quickly navigate my settings let's look up night clock." But to no avail, it seams like at least my s7 dose not have that function. Ultimately it's no big deal I just thought it would be cool to have a rotating time piece on my phone.

Sorry about that, I didn't know it was an edge only feature, but if it's any consolation, I think it's rather bleh. I prefer the always on display, and use a blue clock. It looks decent on my bed table and isn't too bright for me. Looks just right. (yes it only displays in portrait mode, but that's not a big deal for me.)

Hey man don't worry about it I just appreciate you trying to help me. I mean unless you secretly work on building these phones there's no reason for you to have known that it's an S7 feature only. Thank you for welcoming me to the community you have shown me how great this community truly can be.
