amazing what 256mbs of ram can do

I finally found some ram compatible with my computer, and the system is running faster than ever. Believe it or not it was running on 192 of ram. Anyways there is a label on the original ram and it says 256mb ddr pc3200, but on my computer it shows up as 192? also will pc2700 work with my computer, which is suppose to use pc3200?

I know you'll laugh, but the PC I use at school has less processing power than my 5530 (see sig) and 192mb RAM too

alright so ive found out why it shows as 192 instead of 256 its because the graphics card is using 64mbs

That makes sense about the graphics card using it.

Also, in most motherboards you can use PC 2700 and PC 3200 but they will probably both run at the slower speed. I doubt you will notice it.
