Amazon Fire HD 10 - How do I lose the Amazon crap?

Got a new Fire HD 10. I really want to get rid of the amazon custom image...is there a way to put Oreo or Nougat or something on here that would run like a regular tablet? The Amazon stuff is annoying as all get out.

I have looked here and on XDA but have found nothing definite. I found a root, and a method to get rid of some of the OTA and amazon stuff but not all. Surely as popular as these things are someone has a real method to put a regular Android OS on it....right?
