Amazon MP3 problem

Aboyne

Lurker
So i got my tmobile g1 today for christmas and i also got a $50 amazon gift card. I put the money in my account on my computer and now i have $50 as my balance.

So then i went on my G1 and signed into the amazon mp3 app. I tried downloading a song and it went:

Purchase started
User authenticated

and then at "credit car charged" it says "credit card could not be charged. please check your account settings" and etc.

I have $50 on my account from my gift card and it wont let me download music.

what do i do? please help guys

I too had a $50 Amazon gift card, which I applied to my account. But, I didn't even attempt to deal with mp3s via the Droid. Just figured things would go alot smother and quicker via the desktop. The confirmation at the site read "credit card", but the gift certificate was actually used. Later, I just used a USB connection to move 'em to my Droid's SD card.
