Amazon mp3 store and OS2.1

Surely Google must not press for all manufacturers and networks to get as many handsets as they can upgraded to 2.1 if they are to make any headway into the online mp3 store. Would be very, very silly of them to lock out almost all existing Android users out of something so very useful and frequently asked for.

I never really buy music from amazon, it would really bug me knowing this is on my phone in the menu and I wouldn't use it. Give me the option to uninstall it and I'm happy if this goes ahead
