Obviously just a rumour at the moment, but that's something I could totally get behind.

I imagine developers might be a little reluctant if they rely heavily on IAP, but it's a great idea IMO.

It could be cool, so long as they don't lock it down to Kindle Fire devices like they do streaming video. I can watch it on my Blue Ray player, but not my nexus. I can't watch it on my wife's Fire because that's under her Amazon account.

Amazon changed that last year.

Open the Amazon app store, look for the Amazon video app and you should be able to view Amazon video on your Nexus.

But, yeah it would be annoying if it was locked to Fire devices. Although, if they want devs to participate, opening it up to as many potential customers as possible would be sensible (but you never know with Amazon).
