Help Amoled turns pink/blue/purple after dogbite

My phone got bitten. It's a Google Nexus One. It started out with only some pink color on the amoled screen in the right upper corner. In a few hours the pink had "worked its way down" towards the left bottom corner and it turned blue/purple-ish. The screen/glass is still intact though.
So my questions are:
Is there anyone ho had experienced the same thing? Could it be the amoled? Is there any point to replace the amoled?
