an app to download youtube videos

im looking for an app so i could download youtube video to my phone i have the htc sensation

I dont think ive seen an app to do that, it may only be possible on a computer.

when i received my Desire and went on the market it downloaded the you tube app autmatically without me doing or pressing anything. I think that it only lets you watch them and cant save them on the phone?...

Such apps regularly come to Market and then Google throws them away.
An example is Tubemate...

I guess Google's idea of media management is: we keep all your media and you can stream from us...

I suggest you use this streaming video recorder to record videos from YouTube since videos on Utube or many other websites are video stream.

And then after you have downloaded the videos from net, just convert video formats to one of htc supported video formats and transfer the video to htc from pc. Give it a try and it will work like charm.

He was asking for an app, not a pc program.

Be careful with those apps, they tread into legal grey areas and are against the YouTube TOS.

Not trying to preach, but be mindful of the permissions.

hi, try TubeMate, been using it for a few mos now, love it....you have option of watching the video, or downloading it to your sd card
