An intuitive way to download and listen to podcasts?

Greetings everyone! I've had the S8 for about a year now.

I primarily use a Windows 7 desktop, within which iTunes doesn't work for some reason. I'm sure iTunes would make finding, downloading, and transferring podcasts to the device wonderfully easy, but alas.

So far I use the Clementine audio player to download podcasts. I then manually transfer the downloaded podcasts by dragging and dropping each file into the Music folder on my SD card. What happens is that a few of them are impossible to find within the Play Music app, if that happens at all. Infuriating, haha. Help.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I do have a Macbook, but I don't use it as often as I should.

Make your life easier... by skipping the transfer stage altogether and do it all on your phone.

I like Pocketcasts.. its costs a small amount but it works great.. and you can import your list of subscriptions in directly.

If you prefer to download and transfer you can do that from the Mac, of course. Though iTunes certainly does work on Win 7, so you could see whether you can work out what's wrong there.
