Hello
Can anyone please help me? In a public place I activated my Android 7.0 Access Point to connect my PC thru it. I created it unprotected. Yes, I know that was wrong...
After some minutes I found there were 2 more users, who were near me, using my AP. I tried to disconnect them and created it again protected.
From that moment I couldn't access again from my PC thru this AP. I deleted and created again the Access Point, different names, with or without protection, restarted Android, restarted PC, tried a lot of modifications but couldn't access anymore.
The access from Android to Internet works fine, access from PC to Internet thru other APs work fine, everything works fine, except when trying to use any AP in the Android. I tried also with other PC, same result. The only thing I haven't done is to restart Android device to factory mode.
It seems it entered in any "protected mode" and does not allow any more access thru it.
Can anyone please help me finding a way to correct the situation without factory reset?
Thank you for any help any one can give me.
Fernando
