Hello. I received an Archos 5 with Android 1.6, 32gb, gen 7 unit for Christmas which is giving me fits. After much tweaking, trying different browsers, etc, I finally got YouTube to play on the Opera Mini Browser. I cannot, however, seem to get regular streaming audio files to play on any browser. They say the files are in flash format. I'm gathering that flash doesn't play nice with android v 1.6 and that folks have been waiting forever for a flash update from adobe. Is there anything I can do or download (plug-in, browser, etc.) that will allow me to have the full internet media experience (YouTube, streaming audio, etc.) on my Archos 5, android 1.6? I'm running the Opera browser which will play YouTube but not regular streaming audio found on websites (streaming audio podcasts). I'm frustrated to tears and don't understand such things as "rooting", hacking, mounting, etc. Anyone have a quick, easy fix to this problem? I would appreciate any info. Thanks.
