I just read on a blog called PiunikaWeb that LG has promised to give our phone Android 10. Here's what it said:

Here is the link to read it yourself:

We know we can't believe everything we read on the Net, but it's nice to dream. Lol

This has been available for my Tmo Note 9 for about a month but I've blocked it. There are so many reports of issues and I mean from folks that know to do a partition cache clear or a hard reset with a new OS and still have bugs. I'm content with both my devices as they are and don't see anything that is on my wish list with A10. Every new OS promises to revolutionize battery life and faster processing , but all it boils down to is you swap here instead of punch there or the UI is a different color and so on. With the long awaited upgrade to Pie, Samsung took away the pro video feature, something I used regularly. That's one of the reasons I purchased the V40, to have that control over my video content. It just seems there is always some unnecessary trade off.

And I've been seeing a lot of article lately about problems with Android auto on a lot of phones and the article specifically mentioned LG customers are getting the worst of it... Yay!😑

FYI
I just got a message from the app that my boroscope (usb minicamera) uses. It said that if I update to Android 10, I won't be able to use any camera that plugs into the USB C outlet.
