I've got it on a Galaxy s21 (European Exynos model). It works fine there.
That said I never had Samsung's version of Android 11, so don't know how different that was. On other devices in my family (Pixels, Nokias) the difference between A11 and A12 seems to be a bit more obvious than between A10 and A11, but the difference between Samsung and more regular Android is larger than the difference between A11 and A12, so I don't think that experience would tell you much.
