Android 2.1 Exchange Issue

I got my HTC Incredible running 2.1 when it was first released, setup my Exchange ActiveSync account, and noticed that my only option under Mail Size Limit is to download Headers Only. This got annoying very quickly, as I have to click 'Get Remaining' on every single email, regardless of the size. I researched this issue when the phone first came out and came up with nothing on it, and two other guys at work with the Droid Eris on 1.5 don't have this issue, they get the full range of size options to download.

Fast forward to today, one of the guys with the Eris installed the update to Android 2.1, and now he has the exact same problem I do. When I saw his issue, I started to research it again now that a month or so has passed, but I still can't seem to find any documentation or reports of similar issues.

Anybody else see this behavior with 2.1 + Exchange? I can't see it being a problem server-side since it works under 1.5, but my phone can download the whole message if I setup a regular POP account.

Maybe a better question to ask - Does anyone with Android 2.1 and Exchange ActiveSync have the full range of sizes to download available to them?

I've got my Exchange account set up with both the stock e-mail app and TouchDown and both download the full message (although they struggle with larger attachments). The regular e-mail app doesn't give me a choice of sizes though. I have a Nexus One rather than a Droid so it may not strictly be an Android 2.1 issue.

Just setup Touchdown, same result. When I view a message I have a 'Download entire message' button I need to click, even after going through the advanced options and setting 'Email download size' to Full Emails.

I use MS Exchange with HTC's Mail app on 2.1 (GSM Hero build) and have the options:

Headers only
2 KB
5 KB
10 KB
20 KB
50 KB
Entire mail

It sounds to me like a server setting that the 1.5 version of Mail was not able to make use of.

Thanks alot, I was able to dig a little deeper into our Exchange setup and messed with the MaxEmailHTMLBodyTruncationSize parameter, I now have the full range of options on my Droid so I guess the 1.5 phones were the ones misbehaving, getting around it somehow.
