OK so.
Ive been hearing all this stuff about the Android 2.2 upgrade and such of how faster it is and all the new features BUT... (like free tethering)
how do u do it?
Ive been searching the net from google to youtube for installing the Android 2.2 and i get nothing. All i keep getting is the Nexis One and Droid 1 videos and "how to's" and such..
All im getting is info about other developers making the 2.2 ROM.
So is 2.2 FroYo? because ive been reading about the ("leaked") copy and stuff. SO CONFUSING.
All I want to know is, Is their a official Android 2.2 upgrade for my Verizon HTC Droid Incredible?
Ive been watching the videos of resetting it by holding down the volume key n such but i just want to know whats the REAL upgrade?
Although i know that ive been looking at the Nexis One and old Droid videos, i noticed that the guide bar on the bottom looks different when u upgrade. They have like 3 icons that shaped like a phone, a bunch of squares, and a globe...
Now, if I upgrade to 2.2 on my Incredible, will i be able to still KEEP the cool oval buttons or will i have those ugly boring icons??? OR is that only for the Droid and Nexis One?
So if anyone can help me on this it would be the greatest thing. And im sure others are in the same position as me.
Is their a real 2.2 for incredible? where can I download it? Will it be the same as 2.1 (interface wise)?
