Any news of 2.2 coming out on The samsung galexy portal?

Also, Sound only comes out from the back speaker From my samsung galexy portal, it has always been like this, is this just how the phone is did my network (3) send my a faulty phone?

In addition to this, sometimes , my phone turns off whatever the battery level
