Android 4.0.4 & External GPS

I have an Amoi 166 External Bluetooth GPS unit that I can't get to connect to my Android version 4.0.4 phone. It will `pair', but not `connect'.

I have tried the app `Bluetooth GPS' with no luck, plus numerous other navigation programs.

Any ideas on what I can do to get it to work?

I would contact customer service for the GPS unit. It is possible it is not compatible with your phone.
