Android 4.3 LTE Battery Drain

Been doing some experimenting the past few days trying to figure out why there has been massive battery drain with the 4.3 upgrade. Turns out that something with the new 4.3 software and having mobile data turned on is draining the battery extremely fast. I just haven't been able to figure out what it is yet.

Having LTE/mobile data turned on in Android 4.1.2 did not cause battery drain like 4.3 does.

It may have to do with Google location services, I've seen a few people with that as a wakelock. 4.3 seemed to be rushed out without enough testing for this stuff. Hopefully 4.4 is solid.

Just adding that I had the same experience. 4.3 caused battery to drain quicker than earlier releases and disabling location services brought battery life closer to normal.
