Hello,

I just got my Nexus 5 which is now running Android 4.4.4. Now when I tap the App launcher on the home screen, the background is all white and not transparent anymore. Here is a screenshot:

Also the Google Search bar on the homescreen is no longer transparent. I didn't change any settings (as far as I know). It just happend after rebooting or installing an Android update.

I tried changing the wallpaper and rebooting the phone. Is there anybody that can help me?

You can't change it, it's a feature of the update although if you use a launcher like noba or apex, I believe you will be able to make those transparent

Thank you. Well, this is the worst feature ever, I hope they change it soon... I'll have a look at other launchers.
