Android 4.4 download and install on phone?

Hello,
I have the Huawei Ascend Mate atm, with 1.5 GB ram, so it should be running 4.4 fine, as they said, it has lower system reqs, and it should run fine on phones that only have 512 MB of ram ..
But, my phone is running 4.1.2 stock, is there a way i can get 4.4 already on my phone, legally i mean? before Huawei officially upgrades them to 4.4?

The only way to update a phone before the Manufacturer releases an update is to root the phone. You then need to find a developer who has written a ROM for the version you wan to update to. I don't think there are 4.4 ROM out yet for any phones.

Dear Team
I own a Samsung Galaxy GT-I9003 Android based phone with OS version 2.2.1. This phone was purchased 2 years ago and now I am not able to install most of the latest apps available in the store. What I need to know is how can I upgrade the OS to Jelly Bean or may be Ice Cream Sandwich so that I can use the newest apps like BBM which is available for Android users also.
