Lately my Samsung Galaxy S5 with Android 6.0.1 is not remembering the last audio app used, it always wants to play music when I press the play button on my LG Bluetooth headset. Most often I listen to audio books using Listen Audiobook Player (LAP) but the other day I knew that I would fall asleep so I played some music. Since then when I press the play button (on the headset) I get a message that the playlist is empty. I then open LAP, press the play button (in the app) and listen to my book. If I pause the book for a few seconds to a few minutes and then press the play button (on the headset) then the audio book starts. But if the book is in pause mode for several minutes (not sure of the exact length of time but sometimes it will be an hour or possibly 4-5 hours) when I press the play button button (on the headset) again I get the message that the play list is empty and I have to again open LAP and press the play button in the app. I contacted the developer, he stated he is relying on Android to remember the last audio app used.
I think I was using the default music app, the icon is a white music note with a blue background. It is v16.1.91-16 and called Music.
