Android 7.0 Can't enable background apps I need!!

Galaxy S7 running 7.0 on a factory T-mobile phone

This issue is really frustrating me since its causing me to lose money. My day trading apps keep being put to sleep in the background, so I don't get any of my alerts. Here is what I've tried:

Battery- Turn off power monitor, exclude the apps in question from being put to sleep
Data Saver- Off

Despite this the apps still show as cached background processes and don't update on their own. I read about locking apps here and there but it doesn't seem theres a way to do it without a 3rd party app or rooting?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
