Android 8.1 Developer Preview now available

Android 8.1 Developer Preview is now rolling out. This latest Android Oreo build is available for the Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 2, Pixel XL, Pixel, Pixel C, Nexus 6P, and Nexus 5X. All show a build number of OPP5.170921.005.

My 6p is part of the Oreo Vera and I'm still on July security patch. Is Google no longer sending updates for the 6P?

Do you get security updates to the beta builds? Or do you need to switch to the release build for them to start again?

Genuine question - I don't know the answer, but I can imagine that as a beta is a test build it would no longer get updates after the release (or if I were running it I might issue a final "update" to the release version to end the beta).

6P here. Got the oktober security patch. Now I'm gonna update to 8.1.
