Android 8.1 rotating headunit Bluetooth sound problems

My radio is hooked up to 2 amps..subs..6×9s.ect..when its in radio mode my stereo pounds! But if I use my phone n pair it to headunit there's no sound.my YouTube video playing on my phone..and it shows it playing on stereo..sometimes I get it to work.it says like avrp connected..this is driving me crazy!.can someone please help me..thx

Are you using the Youtube app, or going to Youtube via a browser?

I notice that when I use a browser, I must always 'TapTo Unmute' when I start the first video.
(Very annoying.)

There are better options for listening to music from Youtube, rather than the official app or a browser.

Two that I can recommend are MusicPiped (probably what you want in the car), and NewPipe, which is an excellent replacement of the Youtube app.

MusicPiped is only the music that is on Youtube.

@puppykickr They sound just what I want for YT in my car, and streaming to my home stereo. Oh, and F-Droid is my go to app source these days.
