Hello
I have a brand new phone with Android 9.
When I first boot up, for as long as the phone is connected to AC power, mailer works fine.
When I disconnect the phone from AC power and it goes into standby, the mailer somehow goes to sleep, and from then on until the next reboot it will not poll. I can manually force a poll, but apparently the background poller process has permanently gone to sleep.
I found postings that in earlier Android versions there are ways to mark certain apps as "no-sleep", but cannot find any such menu in Android V9.
I am running K-9 mailer.
Any help appreciated, thanks
