Android Abilities?

I'm considering an Android to replace my Iphone and I have a couple questions about its capabilities.

Is it possible to attach a word doc. or photo to a forum like this with the Android OS? Is there a work around if not natively possible?

I'm a small business IT consultant. How do the apps available in Android market compare to Iphone apps in the productivity/business category? My completely uneducated opinion is that there are more productivity apps for the Iphone and the majority of those apps are more refined.

Is there a common place most Android users go to look at apps (comparable to Apple's Itunes)

I've looked around at the available phones is the EVO the only one with a front facing camera? The Incredible seems amazing except no front facing camera.

Thanks for the response

I was at the Verizon trying the Incredible and I tried to attach a PDf to this post and when I clicked on "manage attachment" where it says "choose file" in the bubble it said not selectable or something to that effect.

Can anyone a attach a Word or PDF to this post using their Android?

I tried on my HTC Desire, the forum seems to have uploading disabled from a mobile device (I presume, since it's fine on my desktop).

I tried to use the upload feature on macrumors.com forum from a Droid at the Verizon store and got the same results. ("Not Enabled" or something like that)

Can someone see if they are able to do this on their phone and let me know which forum worked for you.

I'm interested in this feature for attaching files to my university's class discussions boards. Thanks for the help.

i haven't tried this one yet, but i remember that Dolphin browser HD has a feature that let websites see your device as an iphone/android/desktop. This might help...

You don't need Dolphin. Work around sites that whine at you about the phone being a mobile device like so: type

about:debug

into your address bar. No spaces between any of the characters. Hit go. Go to your settings, scroll down. You may now pick your useragent as either Android, iPhone, or Desktop.

Click on 'Apps' at the top of this forum to get an idea of what is available for Android and to see if an app that'll meet your needs can be found.
