Apps Android App Promotion - Marketing

Hi Android developers,

I have a question though -- I've looked at this but I dont get where the promotions exist.... are they in other apps? on the AppBrain website?

The promoted apps are only advertised on the phone in Android apps. This way the installs can be tracked correctly.

How/where do you drive these installs from?

We currently drive the installs from the AppBrain app and several other apps developed by us. The promoted apps are shown in several places, eg under Recommended apps > Show featured apps or in the ad unit at the bottom.
