I am new to Android having switched from iPhone. I use my phones gps in my truck which has android auto. The issue I have is that I am not able to find a keyboard to enter in addresses when android auto is on. My truck is a new 2017 check and everything if fine there. Can anyone tell me where I find or what I click on my trucks touch screen to bring in a keyboard to enter the address please?

Thanks

I'm using it on our '16 CTS V-Sport. I'm prolly doing something wrong, but I find I have to pull the phone off the USB cable in order to input anything to do with the AA app. I've never considered trying to input any other way...

You will not find a keyboard for an address input while AA is running. It is intended to keep you from touching your device. Any time your device is 'connected' via the USB cable all you need to do is either press the button on your steering wheel or 'touch' the microphone image at the top right of the Head Unit screen and then submit your address for navigation via voice commands.
