android based autopilot system for arduino bot

I would like to make an autopilot of robot by using android mobile.The current location is set as the initializing point and a user defined location as destination.By using compass, direction are given to bot. is it possible?

What is the thing you need help proceeding with?
Sorry to be obtuse, but your initial problem statement is very broad, and there are a lot of elements to this system.
Such as, designing the UI layout, implementing the UI, sending commands to the bot, etc.
