Android book making application

Say if I had some written notes on paper. Is there a way of scanning the notes and creating a book of these notes for a tablet or phone?
Thanks!

1. Using the camera compared to a scanner will result in inferior quality scans.

Yea. But the phone/tablet is compact & easy to carry. I think the quality from a 5mp or 3.2mp camera will be be decent enough for a book. But we can't expect the quality from a high resolution scanner.

2. Using those apps to convert the photo to PDF will end you up with several PDF files, one for each photo. Basically, one PDF file per page. Using Adobe or MS PDF Creators on a PC, you can have all the pictures under one file with several pages.
Actually no. The App called Camscanner has a batch mode with which we can create a single pdf file with many pages. It can combine images in a series of scans into a single file. The free version allows only 10 pages (max) per document. Just try this app.

Seriously those apps you say cannot do as the OP wants to create a book out of all his notes.
Just try the apps. But anyway there is a limit for what we can do with the small phones and tablets.

That's the point, especially these are handwritten notes, so they may not come out clear.

They must have added the feature since I last tried it, since when I last tried it, there was none, and I never really did use the app, since the quality that comes out is less than if I just took a high resolution image with the camera.

That's what I'm talking about. We can't expect them to do everything, or at least not the level of quality we need.

+1 for CamScanner (paid version).

ChanChan, the app has gotten a number of updates for the better. I scan my receipts and view them in PDF forms on my computer. They are crisp and clear even at 200% zoomed in. It's definitely one of the best apps I have bought. If you take a picture using the app, it gets saved as a PDF and it seems that there's only that one version on the phone.
