Android cell removes attachments+fix

Hi When someone sends me a picture to my android cell phone (not always but sometimes) it states the attachment(picture) was removed!!! Why is it doing this and how to fix it? Thanks

I could be the whatever it is messaging service you're using is doing it, e.g. MMS, WhatsApp, Instagram, WeChat, Telegram, Signal, FB Messenger, etc. as some of these do have image filtering in them, for things like indecent images.

So what can I do about it? Other images come thru ok!! btw, I never have or will use indecent images of any kind!!!

Check the settings on your particular messaging service, or call their customer support? Unfortunately I can't give you exact guidance, as I don't know what messaging service you're using.

Images can be removed, blocked, and pulled for other reasons besides indecency, e.g. copyright infringement. I know WeChat does that.

Thanks I am using tracfone with verizon

Contact tracphone if that is your provider, or Verizon if that's the case.
This issue is most likely due to the service plan you have.

I don't know anything about that. as I'm using China Unicom. But I do suggest you contact their customer support.
