Help Android default add contacts option

Hi there,

I've just got a new android phone and am having troubles with the contacts option. I have synced my contacts from Google Contacts, and have used the default System Group: My Contacts to store my main contacts on. The trouble is, when I add a contact, the default group selected is not System Group: My Contacts, in fact when I try and add a contact NONE of the default groups are selected. So, when I add a contact, it doesn't display in the list of contacts for me to phone them.

I've looked through the forums and tried to find help, all to no avail. Thanks in advance.

What model phone did you buy ? I don't really understand what you're looking for on the phone itself. I copied all mine over to my Sim card and had no issues having them appear on my new phone.
