Android Dev Laptop, anyone have a $800-$1000 pick?

I don't want a new full size PC but need a newer PC to get deeper into the App Inventor stuff by Google/MIT
 
Maybe keep it in the family, Samsung Google Nexus phone, Samsung laptop
