Android Device Manager

Hey guys, I recently got my Samsung Galaxy S3 stolen :/. Unfortunately I can't track the phone because he/she has turned it off. I'm wondering if the Android Device manager:

https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager

can still track the phone through wifi even if the SIM is removed or replaced or the phone is unlocked/reseted, etc.

Thank you,

Tea

If the sim is reset? It should still be conected. If a factory reset is performed? The account is off the phone.

If the sim card was replaced. for a factory reset, wouldn't the iemi still be linked to my gmail, on the gmail account anyways.

The only thing the Police can do for me is monitor my iemi on the school network. Since they told me to change the original wifi password, the phone no longer connects which means that I can't track it (Assuming they have yet to break my phone lock)

The IEMI isn't linked to your Gmail. If anything, it's linked to your account on your carrier. I don't see how GMail would have access to that information as it's not necessary for it (Gmail) to function.

Oh alright. Thanks everybody, lets hope the police can find it before the end of the week. It will cost me around $500 to get a new phone.
