Android Emulators

Other way around:

Ever wanted to run Windows apps on your Android device? If so, that may soon be less of a wish and more of a reality: CrossOver and WINE are coming by the end of the year. These runtime projects make it possible to emulate (or recreate) environments where Windows apps can run.

The big catch with WINE for Android, is you have to have an x86 CPU based device, and most of the existing ones are ARM. But there's quite a few new tablets now that are x86, with Intel Atom CPUs. And I've actually got one, a Ramos i9s, which is available with Android 4.4 Kitkat or Windows 8.1, upgradable to Win 10.

Not heard of Windroy before, it's Chinese apparently ("京ICP备14004085号-1" a Beijing ICP license). But then there's quite a lot of Android and Windows cross compatibly development goes on here. Might give it a try in next few days, let know what I find about it. AFAICT at the moment, it's Android as an installable Windows EXE.

Windroy is what I thought it was, Android running in Windows as a virtual machine. Kitkat 4.4.2

Couldn't make it go online though, even though it's showing a good WiFi signal...

...and has a China Mobile SIM with service apparently....hmmm

This was running on my Windows 10 tablet, which is WiFi only and was definitely online. Not looked at the settings yet, or what's actually really going on here. When it's run for the first time, there's no initial Android setup or activation stuff, it's just straight in and the default language is Chinese, and if you want English you have to go into the Android settings. It's already rooted and has Google Play as well as the Qihoo 360 app store.
