I have an LG G4 and a V10. I have both synced to Gmail and to a work Exchange account. I have noticed that my contacts which are business entries without a person's name get modified by the LG contacts app. For instance, if I create a contact with a business name of Brighton Floral Company with no individual's name in Outlook on my computer, after the sync with my phones, the contact will have been modified with Brighton Floral Company listed as the business ( or Organization) and it will also in the same entry have Brighton listed as an individual's first name, Floral as the middle name and Company as the last name.
I have in the past owned Motorola and Samsung phones and I don't recall this as an issue. It seems to only occur with contacts in my Exchange account. I posted this question to LG support and their response was "In response to this concern, I’m afraid this is the normal operation of the Android system."
Is this for real ? Do others experience this issue ? Thank you much.
