Can anyone tell me if it is possible to share a status on the android fb app? If so how?

Just go to your profile and at the top of that page click status.

Also, if you have the latest version of the app and you are on the homepage(page where all the icons/options are), you need to click on the icon at the top right side which looks like a square bubble(to the left of the search button). This will open the status update screen. Hope this helps.

I'm assuming you mean share as in re-posting someone else's status/link/video/picture..

If so, that's not possible in the regular Facebook app. I'm not sure if an app like Friendcaster would allow you to do that or not.

you can try using your phone stock browser also.
