Hey guys! I'm STUMPED. Can someone help me solve this...
I have a Samsung s5. For backing up my photos, I've been using Android File Transfer. It's worked great for a while. I plug it in, click and drag whatever I want to backup from the phone. And then I click the Card option and drag and save whatever photos ect are saved on the card.
I haven't backed up my phone in a while, not since it upgraded to Lollipop anyways (don't know if that has anything to do with it). When I open Android File Transfer I can access whatever is on the phone it's self and click and drag and save things. Like, if photos or things are saved on the phone, it totally works... But when I click on the Card tab to save all the photos that I saved on the card, I keep getting that error message that says:
"Can't access device storage
If your device's screen is locked, disconnect its USB cable, unlock your screen, and then reconnect the USB cable."
But my phone isn't locked. And I was able to copy stuff off the phone already. Just not the card. I tried unplugging it, on the phone I tried toggling between MTP and PTP, I tried re-installing Android File Transfer, and doing re-starts.
I've looked on forums for help but all the help seems to be if the over-all phone isn't recognized... But my phone is recognized, just not the card. Which I don't understand since it's previously recognized the card, and I still use the card in my phone (so I know it works).
