Android for Amazon Firetablet

There are limitations with the amazon firetablet, doesnt like certain apps why is this?
Also how do you get Firefox to run as youre default browser, i seem to be stuck with Silk and have no idea how to change it?

Welcome to AF. Which Fire Tablet? I have Play installed on mine and use Chrome for a browser and it doesn't seem to mind.

Thanks Its A Fire HD 10. I too managed to get google play after making a few adjustments. I did try loading Firefox but couldnt get it to become the default browser. I have google browser but cant make that default either?

I'll have to check when I get home. I honestly don't do much other than games on it, so I need to verify that I have Chrome set as default. I can try and install Firefox to test as well.
