How about the history of Android and where you think it will go? Perhaps the fact that many manufacturers are looking to fork Android like Samsung, Amazon and now with Cyanogen. I think it'd be a fun paper to write. 
Whats the impact of having so many different forms and configurations of hardware to the Android ecosystem?
Android has a vast hardware ocean with a semi-common OS spread across them while Apple has a much tighter hardware pool with a common OS spread across them.
