Android Games in TV

Hi,

I am a newbie and wanted to explore about the android games and specifically playing android games in TV.

I just wanted to know as a developer, what are all the precautions that I should take in order for my game to be played in a smartphone/tablet and a TV. This is with respect to the resolution? Please let me know about this? If I am not clear please or not said any points to answer this question, please let me know I will make this question more clear.

as long as the phone has HDMI out it will scale to any tv with hdmi inputs
