I used to think that mobile gaming was an "Angry Birds" type thing where you only played when waiting in line or in the bathroom, etc. Then yesterday I played with my friends iPhone 4. I found out that Epic Games, the guys who made Gears of War, got the Unreal Engine working on iOS devices. There was this tech demo they released on the app store called "Epic Citadel."
It's basically a small world that you can explore that uses the Unreal Engine. I played the tech demo and was amazed. I kid you not, the graphics were that of the PS3 or Xbox 360! It completely blew my mind.
Do you guys think game devs will ever focus on Android? A lot of Android devices have more power than the iPhone 4, and the potential is huge. (The problem is, a lot of Android devices also have less power than the iPhone 4)
