Hey everyone,

Is there a way to set update frequency on the gmail application? I don't want the gmail app to constantly check for updates and drain battery... Thanks for any input.:)
 
It doesn't poll or check, email are just "pushed" to your phone. The server tells you that you have new mail, the phone doesn't actively look for new mail.

Gmail is PUSHed on the gmail app. No battery is being drained. Guess you UCLA people don't read or search forums... HAHAH
