You can try launchers (e.g Launcher Pro) that allow you to customise the dock if you want to put the android robot there. Also try the desktop visualiser app.

I just use desktop visualizer or Launcher Pro shortcuts. I made android guy dock in my custom icon thread on this page. Probably will be making a bunch of andy stuff since he's so awesome and cute.
