Android is sending a lot of data.

Android os is sending a lot of data out and I'm wondering if this is normal. It's been happening for about 2 weeks now and only occurs when I have mobile data turned on. Anyone know a fix?

There are three places to look. First go to settings>accounts>google and see what you have for your sync settings. Then go to settings>mobile networks and data>data usage and see if you have data saver turned on. (this might also limit other mobile data so pay close attention to what changes). Finally go to Google Photos>menu>settings and see if you have your photos set to backup to your Google account.

Double check with your provider on how much data you're actually consuming. Apparently my provider counts lower than Android, so whatever Android says, I just use the provider usage checker. That's the amount I'll get billed for anyway, no matter what Android says.
