Android is starting optimizing app

My android box stopped working. After the MBOX logo, it goes straight to - Android is starting : optimizing app. And stuck in that. I already restart few times. Can someone help me?
I'm using M8S- II android box.

Tried to reset to app by pressing a pin inside the AV input, but still going straight to the Android is starting page and stuck there.

Sounds like the firmware is corrupted or damaged, probably due to quality issues. It will need to be re-flashed. Contact the vendor or manufacturer for the instructions and files needed.

I haven't seen this before so I don't know for sure what it means... but one of the options I would try is to reboot the device while it is connected to the internet via a LAN cable (NOT WiFi) and just leave it alone for a while.

I'm guessing that this maybe an OTA update that can't be completed for some reason.
Just an idea...

Thanks Mike.
Can I do it myself? The vendor I got this box is very hard to contact.

Somehow it's working now. But very slow and hanging. I think I need to update / reinstall the firmware.

Could be an update downloading from a server in mainland China, like Baidu Pan or something, which depending on where the box is, might be very slow, like dial-up speeds.

The best idea is to reset the device to factory settings and TURN OFF all updates.

When it's working fine then there is no good reason to update it.
