Who is your carrier? Carriers usually send OTA updates and the best you can do is use the "Check for Updates" option on your device.
Other models of the HTC U play? Or other phone models in general?

Not sure to whom you are making this request as we are not HTC nor a specific carrier forum. We're just a forum for all Androids
The U Play is a budget model from 2017. These normally get no more than 1 year's software updates, and MTK-based models like this tend to be particularly poorly supported by HTC.
Also with their recent cuts HTC have vastly reduced software support, so even flagships are getting very little in the way of updates. So all in all I very much doubt there is an update for this phone, and for sure HTC aren't going to release one now if they haven't already.

Another problem with Mediatek MTK devices, it's almost impossible to develop any custom ROMs for the things AFAIK. Because manufacturers can't release any drivers and source code
