Android Market download stalling...

Im on the acer liquid, recently updated to 2.1 and i foudn the Android MArket wont download.
Ive looked around other forums, cleared caches of so many things which people tell people to do, ive logged in and out of GTalk and my email has never been changed to gmail, always googlemail.
WTF is going on?

Worked it out. You have to switch your account to @gmail.com if your in UK, which was recently introduced. Then either switch accoutns somehow, or factory reset and loggin as @gmail.com again.

i think you have to do that period no matter where you're at if i'm not mistaken.
