What's up with this HUGE discrepancy in size?

Should I uninstall the Facebook app and re-install it again?

Has anyone else noticed this at all?
 
It might be an issue with the cache. Hit the menu button from your home screen, settings, applications, manage applications, all, then scroll down to your Facebook app. When you choose it, you should see several buttons you can hit. Clear Cache (assuming it's bright gray) should take care of that.
 
thanks for the suggestion. my cache button is light grey, but it's only 180kb. The total app size is 20.42mb. I'm thinking about clearing the data to see what that does, but i'm trying to find an alternative first :/
 
Yeah it did. lol, you replied quick! I came in here to say that I couldn't wait and I cleared the data and it took care of 20MB...

I guess that was the "problem" if you want to call it that...
 
Now go back into you're Facebook app as you'll likely have to log back in. You won't lose anything permanently, but some info may have to download back onto the phone.
