Help Android Market Problem

When I open Android Market a pop-up comes up that says "You've entered the wrong password or your account has changed. Please re-enter your password.". And below that is my OLD g-mail address already filled in (grayed-out so I cannot change it). and a password box. I have deactivated that account and when I enter my OLD password, it says somehing like "try again". How can I set up Adrd Mkt with my NEW Google account?

Go to Settings > Accounts > Add account and add your new Gmail account and password. Then open the Google Play app, tap the 3 dashes in the upper left corner and select your new account.

Go back to Settings > Accounts and delete the old account if you haven't already. Be aware that apps previously purchased using the old account will not be available in Play under the new account. You should be able to transfer them by contacting Google.

If you are using the market app rather than playstore I guess you may be running gingerbread. If so you might need a one off google application password (rather than your account password) to do the first sign in. You will need one if you have enabled 2 step verification on the new account.
